The Advanced Manufacturing program helps students develop both independent and collaborative skills while solving real world problems with fun and exciting state of the art technology. These skills will help students in any career field as they will learn how to use a systemic approach to develop solutions and learn how to locate resources in order to drive their own learning process.

Piedmont Hills High School’s construction technology pathway teaches you to:

  • Implement the Engineering Design Process to solve complex problems in collaborative teams
  • Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, Routers, Laser Engravers and 3D printers
  • Create complex 3D objects in virtual space
  • Read and Write G-code for CNC programming
  • Accurately perform precision measurements and quality control
