The pathway helps students develop their leadership and problem solving skills by providing opportunities to develop critical thinking skills that enable them to fully participate in their local communities and global society.

The curriculum sharpens students’ communication skills, via the public speaking skills they develop through group collaboration and in-class presentations, so they can be better collaborators which help them become better community members where they gather perspectives to respond to challenges affecting their community.
