life or death impact? Pursuing a career in Emergency Response/Fire Service means you’ll
help people when they need it most.

The Fire Service Pathway Program at James Lick High School prepares you for an Associate
Degree in Fire Science and gives you the education and leadership skills you’ll need for
competitive advancement in the job market of Emergency Response/Fire Service careers.

By the end of the Fire Science program you’ll be qualified to:

  • Apply for entry level positions in the fire service
  • Apply for entry level positions in the emergency medical service
